|BT74||I have one, bought it from Greg Smith. I'm very pleased with it. It has provisions to bolt it down if you choose. I really don't see why someone would be "scared" to work under it. My only complaint is that it is a bit narrow, and there is not a lot of leeway between the posts when I put one of my '60 chevys on it.|

well i have that exact lift and have also had 2 other 9000lb. 2 post lifts.you need to ask yourself a few questions about your intentions. like i said i had 2-2 post lifts prior to getting my pro park 7 so here goes
1-are you looking mainly to store cars or repair cars?
2-I grew tired of everytime i wanted to move the top car i had to kneel down and set the lift or drop the feet(when your young its no biggie when your older it can be ruff)
3-if your looking to do a lot of suspension or brake work get a 2 post
4- i have lifted and worked on my 2001 ford expedition with no problem
5- store my 1959 chevy wagon on top of my mustang have been doing this for years
6 mine is not bolted down i have 4 wheels for it and leave a car on it to move it around easier
7-it you get the 4 post it works easier for stacking 2 cars drip trays work well to keep fluids from dripping also i would suggest an air bottle jack harbor freight has like a 20 ton for a hundred bucks on sale its around $70 makes it super easy to raise car and put on jackstands
8- I have had mine for 4 years and my wife and daughter helped me assemble it

|72truckdriver||I don't know any thing about that particular one but I work under a four post all day. That one does not look very beefy to me. It's no where near as stout as the ones I work under and there not top of the line by no means. I would love to have a lift at the house but I have to agree do not skimp. We are talking about you're life it is not worth the gamble.|

|ColoradoKid||I bought a used 2 post from a automotive used equipment reseller here in town. It came out of a Chrysler dealership in Denver that was closing. It says on the side its made by DLA Direct lifts associates and has a 7000lb rating. They delivered it, screwed it down to the floor and made sure everything was working as intended and gave me a 6 month warranty for $1800.00 I had to run the 220 line to it and thats it. The lift will work on 110 but the 220 is much quicker. My 55 chev has been on it too long. Works perfect and is rock steady.|

|Timido||My friends have a small performance shop. They go one of those cheap bend pack 4 posts and a the cheap 2 post bend pack. I think they got them from Grag Smith. They are no where near the quality of the rotory lifts I used to use but for residental use they are ok. The 4 post was not bolted to the ground and it swayed a little. The 110 volt motor took a long time to raise the lift. I was considering one of the cheap 2 post lifts from there in the future.|

Pro Park 7 Direct 4 post lift
HI Guys, I've been researching lifts and I've tentatively decided on a Pro Park 7 model from Greg Smith Equipment Sales Inc. Mostly driven by price, they talk a good game and claim to have sold 15,000 of these lifts. Anybody got one? Any problems? Captain Ed
