JerBob I would give VFN Fiberglass a shot. They did a cowl hood for my Camaro a few years ago for the same reason. Unfortunately, I don't have a phone number handy but I know they advertise in National Dragster among other places. I'm sure they have a web-site.

65 gto hood replacement

I couldnt fit my new Victor intake under my stock hood. It would close but basically touched the top of the Holley carb. Does anyone know of a fiberglass hood that has the stock gto scoop style but is or can be modified to be a few inches taller. I saw a 65 lemans in HPP a few months ago that had one so I know they are out there, I just dont know where. The car was owned by a David Reeves from OK, but i havent been able to find him. Thanxx 4 any help.
