|tdkkart||By the way.....that's the incorrect method for tensioning the fan belt, the loop goes on the bottom. Otherwise it messes up the airflow to the carb and the pinion-dable valve won't be able to commiserate for it................|

|Hippie||That's the upper bracket, the actual rubber mount bolts to the frame and then to that bracket. The brackets may be different but the rubber mount on the frame should be very similar. If not just buy mounts for a '78 Camaro with a 305/350. See if you can find a mid 70's Camaro with a small block and see which bolt holes the mounts are bolted to then find those holes on your frame, they should be there, GM was very good about putting all the holes there for the different drivetrain combinations.|

This is a picture of the 350 you can just about see the mounts, they look different to the ones on the 231.

Chevy 350 engine swap – motor mount question
Hello guys, I’ve just bought my chevy 350 , I planning to drop it into my 1978 firebird. I am finally getting to swap out the problematic 231 v6 for this 350 chevy. The engine comes with the TH350 but my current concern is the engine mounts.
The mount brackets are already attached to the 350, but what mounts do I need for the cross member?
The 350 was from a 1974 camaro. Are there any differences in mounts that I need to be aware of?
