onenew32 we want to do away with the old Chevy master cylinder. the owner wants a double master cylinder for safety reasons and because we added rear discs, wa have to add a booster. all this and he won't give up his 4:1 ratio swing pedals, or his 351 Cleveland motor, so we are going to double bellcrank under the floor for a 7" double booster. All this means a new Clutch master of some sort. I would rather do a retrofit as opposed to a Wilwood. No reason, just Me.

Deuce I ran the same setup as yours years ago and found them to be very serviceable ... and adequate. What is the problem with yours ??

clutch help

Has anyone out there got a few links to good articles on hydraulic clutch set ups? What master cylinder to use, what slave to use, if any of the hydraulic throw out bearing out there can be made to work. Right now I am dealing with a deuce coupe running a Tremec five speed, using an antique Chevy truck double master and a mid 60’s Chevy truck slave cylinder. I am in bad need of an upgrade. It seems like there was just an article in a mag dealing with this where they used a master and slave from a corvette of some year, but I cant find it now that I need it. Anyone got any links, or can you point me to the right mag?
I might post this in transmissions, and in general knowledge. Mr. Moderator, if I shouldn’t do this in the future, just let me know. Thanks for your help!
