F-BIRD'88 The 305 TPI head is the same as a 350TPI head other than the small er combustion chamber and the smaller intake valve.
If you want your 350 to have the same cr is stock you can.
rebuild the 350 using a dished piston and the 305 heads as is
Or rework the 305 heads for larger 350 sized valves. (1.94x 1.60) This rework will involve slightly clearanceing the chamber wall around the valve which in itself will make the chamber larger. (probabily around 62cc).
Now you have a perfectly usable "350 head"

va4cqd little bottles of octane booster does nothing. when they say 2 or 4 points, they mean like going from 87 octane to 87.2

DoubleVision You can reuse the distributor. However, depending on the pistons and the 305 heads small chamber, the compression ratio maybe too high for pump gas.

305 tpi heads on 350 block

i was just wondering if i can use the same distributor from the 305 or is there a special one that i will need im going with the same intake just going with 350 block instead of a 305 block. One more thing will i notice a real difference in power and torque. thanks for reading
