|joe_padavano||I'll third what was said, and add that the stamped steel control arms can crack. Look for hairline cracks on the stamped boss that the ball joint presses into - a sure sign the arms need to be replaced.|

I agree with the last post, i'm a tech myself and wouldn't risk losing my job or someones life fixing cars incorrectly.
What I would do is take the ball joints back to napa and find someone who stocks Moog ball joints and get those. Carquest used to carry them under their name also. Just stay away from that cheap chinese crap. If they still dont fit than go get another set of lower control arms and put your moog ball joints in those.

Lower Ball joints
I'm speaking as a professional auto technician that doesn't want to lose his business if someone gets into an accident because I screw up a ball joint installation.
The ONLY way to fix it is to replace the lower control arms. Use any other method, with the possible exception of the rumored oversize ball joints, and your necks in a noose if something fails. (I've heard about the oversize ball joints but never actually seen any that fit right.)

|barnym17||Check the hole in the A frame to see if it is worn if it is Moog makes oversized balljoints to correct this, or tack weld em in.|

Lower ball joints
Need a little advice. I'm changing lower ball joints on my S10. When pressing in the new ball joint it goes in VERY easy!! In fact they will fall out with a little tap! Both sides are the same. Napa says these are the right ball joint. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.
