powerrodsmike Welcome to the site, this is a good place.

You can do a search here for the info you might need, or you can post your question in the appropriate forum.

Sometimes when you ask a question folks will do the search for you and come up with an answer...
Like this.. I typed "steering box adjustment' in the search field and this is one of the posts that came up.

poncho62 welcome....Best to ask in the steering forum.........Most GM boxes have a screw and lock nut on top for that purpose. It may, however be worn out and need rebuilding.

vega steering box

Good morning....I am new to Hotrodders bullitin board, but have been a streetrodder (gearhead) for many years. I hope I can make a contribution to this forum and look forward to meeting new friends. I just finished building my 2nd 32 Ford. this one has a vega steering box. it appears to have a lot of play in it. is there an adjustment to tighten it up?
