I used 15 gallons of resin and countless feet of fiberglass. fixing what I found wrong with the car. One other thing I did not like was the window openness of the doors. I took channel that the felt would fit in a started at the bottom of the doors and went from front to back. I weld little tabs on them, ground into the glass all around the window opening a little deeper than the tabs, then used a 2 part epoxy that will adhere metal to fiberglass, it gets so hard you have to use 36 grit sandpaper on it, I also put it at the bottom opening with rubber cat whiskers on 2 metal pieces of sheet metal, now my doors are very strong and the wind noise should be gone. Before this you could squeeze the inside and outside of the door together at the bottom of the window, now it's as strong as a metal car.

I'm 68 years old and have worked on or built Street Rods since I was 12 years old. when I looked at a body of a SB at a show I thought it was not bad. I did not find out until later that no part from a henry built 34 will fit on it. The grille shell I have on mine took many hours of fitting sanding and work to get to fit.
The reason I tell you this if you get in a wreack you are in for some long hours. My frount fenders are not the ones that came with the car, even though they were one peice, they were not the same and both had to be changed. again I had to pick the right spot to cut the old ones off and put the new ones on.
I would check the body out real close and make sure it's right. I will tell you on thing I don't like on them is the front fenders don't go over the wheels, the opening sits above the tire, to me taking away the Hot Rod look. One other thing the grille insert is missing a bar on each side, so you can tell from a block away it is a SB.
Again if some one took the time and work to change these, I think you can have a nice looking car, but again that's me I'm an old Hot Rodder and I want them to look that way.
If it's a car you like, go for it, there are a lot of first time Street Rodders that have one and like them, I got mine to play with building it, I had never worked with glass so I got it. I work on it awhile then find a steel car to build and push mine in the back, now it is time for the final push on it and get it done.
If you would like some other photos or call me just leave me a PM, and I will get right back to you.
