Ohhh, this is soooo tempting!! LOL
I walked over this morning and looked it over. Body is very straight! One rust line on the bed but could be fixed. It is a Camper Special F250. Has dealer installed under dash A/C and P/S. Dash is junk but it's all there. Even has a real nice seat cover! LOL It's missing the tailgate but I have another neighbor with a '69 F250 parked in his back yard.....and NO dog!
Lets see,,,,500 for the truck, a couple grand to rebuild the engine, 800 for new tires, Earl Schieb paint job-300 bucks. Misc stuff another grand. Hmmm, maybe I'll pass and buy a 60" wide screen TV instead!

|onebadmerc||Does it have any options like power steering, a hang on under dash AC unit, power disc brakes? If it does it is well worth $500, I have seen those hang on AC units in working condition go for around $1000. Even if you buy it for $500 you could easily part it out and crush what is left and make $500.|

My friend Eddy Brown has a hi performance 390 from a Torino that has a four speed trans, it is in good shape and priced right too. *** *** **** South central New Mexico.

Hmm, I need a 390~!!
My neighbor just stuck a for sale sign on his '72 long bed Ford truck. Seems the engine blew and he wants it gone. $500 bucks, maybe 400 since i'm a neighbor! LOL Anyone think it would be worth buying to drop in a good used (if there are any left) engine and then sell it? It's a granny 4 speed, pretty straight body but no tailgate. How much is an old Ford worth these days? LOL
Like I need another project in the middle of the 115 degree summer here!
