fortypickup Alright guys the subject is chosen! I will start an official new art contest thread. It will be named..."September Big truck art contest" How ever I am changing the rules to All trucks from any year will be allowed! Again any long as it is a big truck!

Thanks Jon for the generous offer of the "T" shirt. I will make a note of it in the new post.

Only Racing My apologies guys for not reading it thouroughly, I see it says any 50's big truck not just Diamonds.

The contest I would say starts whenever Forty says it does and most of the time ended on the 25th or 26th to allow for about a week of voting into the next month.

poncho62 What was the usual date....around the 20th....and then a few days to vote?

Can't you finda pic somewhere of a truck?
09-03-2008 05:07 PM
Only Racing Well I think I'm out of it then since you guys know I mainly do photo manipulations. (all my stuff is actually a photo) I don't think I have any big trucks like mentioned and in reality, I can't draw. So please have fun guys and make some cool stuff. I'll be looking on.

When will this end guys, is there a set date ??

Only Racing I'm game for almost anything this month, Maybe we can have rodder 18 choose or someone if they are up to beginning this, trucks, cars, trains, I'm not picky.

Since I'm not an artist in it, I'll just do a suggestion. A Willy's was done once before, so how about doing either a '50s era chop-top Oldsmobile or a late 40's themed early Ford (gulp- I can't believe I typed that...) with a non-Chevy powerplant. I know there's plenty of talent in this forum, so let's see what you guys think.

In a while, Chet.
