Another way that works pretty good on those difficult pieces,
if you can get it sanded smooth, a flow coat always comes out a lot slicker.
That's how I do it sometimes, just spray another reduced coat of clear
with a slow reducer.

|Dork||You can get a small 3" air buffer and they work really well for areas like that.. I believe the one I have is made by Central Pnuematic.. Or you can sand it up to 3000 grit and by that time the paint is starting to get a gloss already, and then you can buff it by hand..|

Cut and buff clear questions
I painted the 66 Mustang and ended up with some orange peel with BC/CC in some areas. I am getting ready to start sanding and buffing the clear.
I understand how to do large flat panels, but how do you handle areas (like around headlights) where a buffer can not get into? I do not want to burn the clear.
The small pieces are all pretty smooth and free of orange peel in the tight areas. Attached is an example.
