I didn't buy it, I figured that if it wasn't going to make a big differance then I could find a better way to put the $65 in the project.


The engine idels good, its a stock 77' remanufactured 350 with ~5000miles on it with an eldelbrock performer intake.

B&M Torkmaster 2400 rpm stall converter vs. stock torque converter???

Hello, I have a chance to buy a B&M Torkmaster part number 20404 2400 rpm stall converter for a th-350 for $65.00 that has about 3000miles on it.

Is it worth it??? What if any improvements would I see compaired to the stock th350 torque converter, with a basically stock 77' 350. This is all going to go into the 350 beetle that I'm building.
