yknot On the painting in cold weather thing.....Make sure your manufacturer is OK with those cold temps, usually 70� is the lowest you can paint in. Also be aware that many paints will not dry in cold weather, in fact House of Kolor paints will just lie dormant till the temps warm up over 65�. Meaning you will have GREEN paint or paint that has not cured for months till the temps reach above 65�. This is very important because you can ruin a paint job by assuming it's cured when it hasn't.

Kevin45 Like Vince stated...blue is for house, green is for cars.DO NOT use the yellow/beige as you will get residue off of it. And don't try and save by buying the green at the Advanced, AZ's. or Wally. Same tape but core size is remarkabely larger, so less per roll. Way less at the same price.

302 Z28 Blue tape is for house painting, the green tape is what you want.

HI,if you used the blue tape,you should be good for months. if yellow tape,take it off now...

Masking tape prblem.

Hi Guys; Here is the deal. I have my roadster totally ready for paint. It is primed and I just finished taping and masking it. I live in Northern Ohio and the temp. has gone from mid 60s to mid 30s. Great! how long can I leave the masking tape on before I paint in very low temps with out problems. It looks like it could be weeks before I get a temp that is above 50 . Thanks for your help. I used very good tape.
