You can get the 4.5 cut off blades on sale from HF a pack of 10 For like $3.50 or so.Don't remember what it was.But I stack up when they are that price.I use them a lot.

They are $5.99 for a pack of 10 now,

jaguarxk120 I've been using a Makieta electric die grinder. With a arbor mounted cutoff wheel it works just like the air driven one. Nice thing about it is now I do not have to fire up the compressor just to make one or two cuts.

OneMoreTime On mine i can just turn the arbor nut over and it works fine..buy the wheels in the industrial size boxes as one can go thru those things fairly fast and they are cheaper that way..and I have some when I need them and do not have to run to the store all the time..

forestrytodd I've got an arbor that I use on my 4 1/2 inch angle grinder like burnt olds is talking about but mine does not require a spacer. It is 2 pieces that sanwich the disc between them. works great! Got mine at Northorn Tool

well you can use a 4 inch grinder and buy the thin wheels for them , but you need a spacer , i have doubled the backing washer or a big flat washer to make up the difference .
but beware , use the guard for sure and safty shield with safty glasses behind them .and gloves .
