You need to separate them with your index fingers and thumb. Once you do that get the one end in the groove and use a small screw driver to push the coil in. There is a company that makes an installer just can,t remember who they are. Your fingers will be sore.
I just call a buddy and tell him about some fancy dodad I just got, he comes over to look at it and then I get him to put those pesky racsals in.
seperate, roll in, and work your self up to double spiro locks.
Yes thanks
What´s the difference between the plastic tool (25 $) and the steel version (90 $). And what would i need ? would the plastic one be just enough ?.
Don't give up. Pull them apart about 1/2 or so and get one end in and work your way around (not with a screwdriver) , use a popsicle stick so you don't carve up your pistion. :nono:

I can get the end in it´s grove but when it´s time to push the spiro lock further in it seems to jump out. so i can´t even punish my fingers.
Maybe i am doing it all wrong so could you give me some good techniques.
Pull it apart about 1/2" like a slinky. Start one end and work it around.
Put the end in the groove, move over about 3/8" inch at a time and push down toward the groove until the complete lock is in. Then you do the second one the same way, just make sure the first one is down all the way.
Once you do one...the rest will go fast.
