We started a trivia thread over at another forum and it has been a lot of fun.
Here are the ground rules. It starts with one question. The first reply with the right answer gets the floor for a new question. It continues like that unless, A) the person who has the floor doesn't ask a new question, or B) no one gets the correct answer. In that case, the person with the floor asks a new question. No more than one question on the floor at a time, and discussion/clarification is welcome until the floor is taken over by a new question.
First question: In the 1952 Indy 500, what type of fuel was burned in the record-setting pole-position #28 car? Hint: it won pole position by a full 4 mph over the second-place Ferrari
Buick had an auto trans from 1948-52 called a Dynaflow.
What TWO tools are required to check and set the 'torque ball' drag?
Bonus question, (like there are prizes...right?) What is the specification- between what numbers- on this setting.

. "Dollars are like votes, except that they actually count."
not really, but because of the generallity of the way I wrote the question last night, I have to give it to you... the answer I was looking for was Dec 20 1989.. Chrysler used the Kenosha plant to produce there Dodge Omni's and Plymouth Horizions from sometime in 1987- Dec 20 1989 when they stop'd making them..
1962 406 Ford has that bore, stroke, and compression ratio, but is a 6v (3-2's), not an 8v (2-4's). As far as I know, 2-4's weren't available until the 427 came out. But maybe I'm about to learn something.
