Life sure does, but there's plenty of more time to do another project. I've been dreaming of starting a screen printing business for 10 years and I'm just now getting around to it.. well now that I'm not working on a hotrod project.

Wow! That's very generous of you. I'll be in Florida this spring. I don't know if we're driving. Might have to get a trailer hit for the wife's SUV. We'll see.

Sorry you had to sell the beetle though. It was a great build and I hope the new owner appreciates it.
That's a great idea. Speaking of. I bought a 1971 VW beetle. Clean car, original for the most part, needs some cosmetic work, but runs great, is fun and the kids love riding in it. We take it to shows every now and then. I'm itching for something with some get up and go though.

V8 Super Beetle Been a long while since I posted. Lot's of things have changed in my life. Still a hotrodder at heart, but the projects have taken a back seat to family, kids, starting a new screen printing business and playing music.

I'm getting an itch for a another V8 project. Something that has a V8 in it already. Possibly an 80's or early 90's camaro, el camino, or malibu. Whatever I can find a great deal on.

I unfortunately had to sell my bug. Had to get some bills paid and my garage is tied up with my screen printing equipment now. The goal is to get the business out of the garage, into a shop, and make it my full time income. Hopefully I'll be squeezing into a project sometime soon. Otherwise I'll just be hanging out and dreaming.

also the s10 is a good chassis, but heavy, weird shaped, if anyone wants to build one id suggest a toyota truck chassis. their 2x3 frame, light, cheap.

With such a light body, a little weight isn't such a bad thing.

That and converting a S10 to accept a SBC is much easier and there's plenty of aftermarket chassis parts for the S10 as well.

I wish I had the time and money. I've been concentrating on my music (guitar), which I had put off somewhat while I was building the bug.

I would Love to start another project. Hopefully sometime in the near future. Maybe I'll sell the bug so I can do another project. Not enough room in the garage.
