liquid_larry Did you check out the link on Norms post ? There is some drawings there that will give you an idea what they looked like. They started out as a truck engine before they were used in cars.

Henry Highrise Solowookie, The 348 was a big block that Chevy came out with in 1958, the 409 followed it later on. They both have wide irregular shaped valve covers.

I need help finding performance parts for a 348 ci chevy engine like aluminum intake electronic distributor etc. if anyone could point me in the right dirrection i would appreciate it thanx
