MARTINSR Many later model imports used a rolled pin that had a little shoulder so it couldn't fall thru. But depending on the style of car you are building, how about a simple nut and bolt? A nice button head allen and a nylon lock nut would be perfect in most cases.

Door Check Pin

The previous owner of my 37 Dodge cut off the door check pins so he could take off the doors. The holes in the check bracket are 7/32 and the total length of the pin would be about 7/16. The original pin head a head on it and I was thinking of using a roll pin but I'm afraid that it would eventually fall out with opening and closing of the door. Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks in advance
Sam
