enjenjo 74 to 78 Full size Ford and Mercury were 5 by 5". Also 57 to 62 Mercury, and most Lincolns 57 and up.

35pontiaccoupe Never heard of ford using 5 on 5. Should be 5x5.5 in the trucks and broncos and 5x4.5 on cars.

ericnova72 Ford also used a 5 on 5-1/2" on trucks and vans. Never used 5 on 5-1/4" that I know of

327NUT Depends on the application.....the big trucks were 5 on 5" and "MOST" of the passenger cars were 5 on 4 1/2".

Did the Ford 9" rearend have a 5 on 5" or 5 on 5.25" bolt pattern ?
