Where do I end ? 69 c-10
I have had my 1969 chevy pickup since I was 14 I am now 25. I have since put in three motors to find that I am never happy with the power. It know has 454 bored to a 468 11:1 comp. 300h.p.nos, turbo 400 reverse manual vale body, trans brake , 12 bolt w/locker ect..
Where I am at with the project is how much more do I put in it. It needs to be lowered . If I lower it I need to do drop spindles with disc brakes ( which it needs any way). I would like to go to a five lug so I can run bogart drag rims so now I need to change rear axels and I might as well put in hardened axels and if I am going to buy hardened axels shouldnt I just tubb it while I am getting new axels why buy them twice.
My question is will it be worth it to tubb it ? can it hook up without tubbing it?
Any ideas or vendors that have good kits for brakes and spindles?
I no that I will never get what I have in it out but just want to know if my goals are acheiveable without winning the lottery.
