ChrisMiddleron DAmn.. Hah that was easier then I thought. Removing some bolts, and the greasy round thing that the window attached to some force and it came out. Took about 10 mins

outlaw17 ChrisMiddleron , you need to take the door panel off then just look at how the glass is attached to the regulator , some are bolted and you just unbolt them tip the glass to get it out of the channels and then lift out the top , and then some get tricky but just look close at how it operates , roll it down and up a few times watching what its doing and you should be able to figure it out .

I replaced the passenger side window in my 57 truck, and even with the shop manual it proved to be a somewhat difficult task.

I don't know about anyone else, but I actually had to stick a screwdriver in the opening of the door where the window pops out, and PRY just a tad to get the vent window in and out.

horvath Yo, MacMan

I just replaced all the felt on my 54 Chevy pickup ... had to remove the windows from the doors ... the only way I could do that was to remove the entire vent window assembly -- not too difficult, though.

You can see pics at my site (link below my sig).

Hope that helps.

Macman I'm having trouble figuring how to get the driver's window out of 1950 chevy 4dr sedan. I have a shop manual that tells me exactly how to do it but the glass seems to be bigger than the orifice that it is supposed to come out of. It seems like i forgot to take something out to make the hole bigger but i can't see it. If anyone has any tips please speak now or forever hold your peace.
Thanks, Macamn
