|xpsyclonex2002||Sorry, can't post pictures. The door is off the car and having the rust removed and coated. I will be shooting some epoxy on the door this weekend and swinging it. I will try setting it in the opening without hinges/strike to see how everything lines up.|

|deadbodyman||bending , twisting and hammering should be a last resort....pull the stricker out,see if it gets any better then loosen the bolts on the door side of the hinge (with the stricker out)see if you can wiggle it back to a good fit.some times people back up with the door open and get it caught up on something (like a snowbank) and bend the hinges.....if it wont fit the jamb without the stricker in and the hinges loose... then the door is bent. if it fits the jamb until you tighten hinges... the hinges are bent...of coarse it might be both you should really have a pro look at it and try adjusting it before twisting and bending the door...plus a pro will have the door bending bar thats made for twisting the doors....|

WHOH, slow down here, don't be taking a hammer or port-o-power to it just yet.
Post some photos! A very minor alignment bringing out the top at the hinge could correct the problem. But post some photos!

|poncho62||I user to install doors in a car plant........Mind you, this was in bare metal with no hardware in them, we would "Massage" the door to fit, mostly with a BRH (big rubber hammer)...The door obviously needs a little twist.|

|Tomlowe523||Maybe with the door on the car use a block of wood and a porta power were its pushed out, make sure the its right on the frame of the door though so you don't mess up the door skin to bad.|

warped door fixes?
I have a door on my car that fits right at the hinge side both top and bottom and at the top of the strike side. But the bottom of the strike side sticks out about 1/2" like someone shut the door with the seatbelt buckle in the way or something like that. What are some low tech fixes for that? Can it be bent back to shape by hand?
