One of the best things about this site is that we like and respect all make and models, they're all cool and we all have our favorites..But I think we can all agree that some cars are just ugly and nothing can be done to make them Not ugly. The ugliest car I ever drove would have to be a AMC Pacer it was totally embarrassing to drive I felt like a fish driving a fish bowl.I thought it would be interesting to get your opinions on the ugliest cars you guys ever drove? Mabee a vote would be cool....

People who drive to work everyday in a Japanese econo box have no right knocking a great American car, ANY car, I don't care if it's a Pinto or an Edsel, I have a challenge for you.

Don't just talk, post a photo of what you think is the ugliest, but you can't do that unless you post what you think is the most beautiful. Me personally, I like so many I don't know if I can even find a hundred that I would call "most beautiful" so it will be hard. How about staying in same decade or era?

Go to Google.com and click on images. Then put in what you think is the ugliest and look for a photo. Click on it, click on the "view actual size" at the top and then copy that URL and put it on the thread with the
after it and wham, there is the photo in the thread.

Do both, most ugly and most beautiful.

Personally, I have a hard time saying any car is "ugly", I am after all a "Fan of everything that moves human beings". So even the poor 74 Buick Century sedan has something to offer in my world. I could say it is more "designer challenged". But for the sake of this thread I will go ahead and say "ugly" out loud.

Here are a few I would pick.

Most beautiful 1964 Buick Riviera.

Most ugly 1964 Plymouth Valant.

How about a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire for most beautiful..

And how about BUTT UGLY, the 2006 Kia Amanti.

Don't post another time unless you can post the photos, both and good and the bad.

First of all I don't drive Japanese vehicles and second don't take things personal. People have different opions on what they like, not everybody likes the same vehicles! Who made you god in telling me or whoever else what they can and cannot post. This post is all about opinions and nothing else. If you don't like it then it is your problem.

Every car is loved by someone..this '63 Lark is owned by a guy in my town, bought it as a rusted out heap in 1985 because he wanted somthing diffrent. restored it in a few years and started winning trophy's and awards and still owns it. tho last I heard it had engine troubles so it has been getting towed to the shows.. yep some call would call it ugly, and maby in some cases it is ugly. but to the owner, it's his pride and joy..

I'm not sure if it was solely because of it's looks or the fact that it was just a pos, but the Austin Allegro (or "all-aggro" as it became known) is certainly a contender.

As for good looking, I'm a big fan of 60's & 70's American iron, but there's one car that just does it for me - the Iso Griffo...

i stick to european cars,

in my opinion, the ugliest car is this fiat multipla... look at its nose, it doesn´t make sense. what were they thinking...? italians do have a great history of making very beautiful cars.. lamborghinis, ferraris, alfa romeos.. almost everything that says pininfarina.. i´m thinking that they have to make fiats, so that everything else would look better..

most beautiful is this audi A5... it just is.

What really made me upset is calling me unamerican because I don't like most, not all, Studebakers. What does my patriotism or nationality have to do with my personal dislikes or likes. I took that as a direct insult. If I like a certain car or dislike it it is only my opinion. There are people who love Studes and that is fine and dandy. I have a 73 Cougar and most people hate them, so what.I don't care if people hate it, I like it and that is what matters to me. It is personal taste, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I don't know what I like more about you, your being so offended by "un-American" meaning your patriotism runs high (one of my most passionate subjects) or the fact that you admit that the 73 Cougar is found by most to not be attractive! :D

I have said it over and over, I LOVE cars and I will walk over and study something that is well done, BECAUSE it is well done, be damned of what they started with! That 64 Valiant that I put in the ugly catagory......look at the photo of that car in my post. That car is NICE, if I were walking thru a show and a blown motor rat rod was sitting next to it I wouldn't even notice the rat rod was there! That Valiant looks NICE and I study it and enjoy chatting with the owner about the beautiful job he did. If someone has REALLY put passion into it and it is as well done as that Valiant looks, I am sorry, I don't care what it is, I have a hard time not liking it.

But I'm THRILLED that everyone doesn't feel the same, my Rambler would have cost me a mint if they did!
