Im converting to electric cooling fans on my 1974 350 sbc corvette.
I already them wired and relayed. Can someone advise me on a fan switch I can use and what temp thermostat to use. I would like to install the switch in the cylinder head. and 185 degree turn on. Im looking for a common switch in case i ever need a replacement on the road.

temp switch

Thanx for the links.
I was wondering if anyone knew of an oem gm style switch at the lower temp i wanted (185 turn on)I know fuel injected vehicles run at higher temps. I wanted an oem switch in case it ever failed, replacement would be easy at any local auto store.

Anyway i will probably just end up running dual switches and relays. My fan is a 2 speed.

Switch 2 (185 turn on)
Switch 1 (195 turn on)

I install an electric fan on 34 ford that had a 350sbc. All you have to do is go to a local auto parts store and pick a thermostat switch and install it on the intake manifold. Wire it the a radioshack 30amp automotive relay. It turn on at 180 and turn off at 175.
