adtkart Unless the convertor is smaller than the original, it should hold 10 qts. Fill it up, checking it closely, with engine running while adding. You may get some inacurate readings on the stick after adding because of the fluid in the tube. Make sure the temperature is up to normal, and you have run it through the gears, when the level shows full. There is no reason that you should have to add any after 24 hours if it is filled properly the first time, unless you have a leak.

Pawel I did like this:
add to converter about 2 qts, to the tranny about 7 qts. Then I start the engine and add the rest checking level. after 24h need to add 0.5 more.

I just bought a new TCI street fighter turbo 350 tranny. I have filled the stall converter with fluid but not the trans. How many quarts of fluid does it take to fill it up? someone told me ten quarts but that seems like alot. thanks for any help!
