Man That Cabinet Is Great!!!!!

it was so crazy seeing your 55 gallon drum cabinet i built one just like it a few years back and i used the he11 out of it! here is the last one i built from plate steel i found on the railroad tracks

critter119 i believe it is black diamond, yea the lights on the door side get in the way when putting in parts, one thing that i did i took the larger bung and welded it to the bottom of the barrel for returning media back to the five gallon bucket, i had a 2 inch threaded pvc fitting laying around and used that for the return to the bucket
also to get the air in the cabinet i used brass fittings that are avaiable at hardware stores.

FrankR I just freed up a drum and I've got most of the parts to do this. Aren't your lights a bit obtrusive though? I was thinking maybe one of those florescent drop lights that is encased in plastic. So you are using a siphon gun? What kind of media?

critter119 used it today had to make a couple adjustments to it. have to figure out a better way to get more air flow through the cabinet, have 10 holes drilled in door, but had to open door to clear dust so i could see, other than that worked awesome. have to get new air compressor motor seized up on it, but that's what a guy gets for using my little one that is made for basically airing up tires manifolded into my bigger one. have to find a replacement pulley for the bigger one as well the pulley center broke when started to use it today.
