sqzbox Is it possible for you to take back the 625 square hole and get the right carb for the intake? It would work better if you had the spreadbore design on it being that was what the intake was made for.
If you decide to mount the 625 on there, be sure to check the secondary's
for throttle blade clearence on the adapter as the secondary's on the carb are just a little bit larger than the primary's on Edelbrocks.

Agreed

The Edelbrock 2732 will do the trick for you.

cobalt327 2732 should work, even though they say not for the 2101 or 3701 intakes. Might be because those intakes are supposed to be street legal and if used w/a square bore carb, they no longer would be- but that's a guess on my part.

I've used a 1/4" thick fiber insulator gasket and it will work.

southshore30 you need a adapter for a square bore carb.

Edelbrock performer and carter carb help

Can any one give me some info.
I have installed a edelbrock performer intake on my 350 chev and I am mounting a carter AFB 625 cfm carb onto this manifold.I am really new at this and I dont know if I should be using a carb spacer or not.The carb base is to narrow when I put it on the manifold and there is a narrow gap on each side of the carb into the manifold. Is there a certain spacer I should be using. Thanks in advance.
