|F-BIRD'88||Nitrous can destroy either cylinder head if/when things go bad.|

The primary reason I run aluminum heads is because they are easy to weld
on. I have seen heads damaged so bad that an entire combustion chamber
had to be replaced including the rocker bosses and spring pads. When it was
done you could hardly tell they were worked on.

Aluminum or cast iron sbc heads????
All you horsepower fiens, I'm ready to buy my heads for a 6-71 blown 383 stroker. I know aluminum is lighter and will completely disburse if the engine over heats or i spray to much nitrous. I'm learning that cast iron will last longer for my set up and i wont have to worry about melting and should be safe with nitrous. Can everybody reply and give me thier opinion?
