upstand2 I bought one for $50 used. Started it up for the first time , heard a whirring noise and filled my trans full of shavings.

Pull it PDQ!

I would remove the converter ASAP,I had the same problem when the converter was built the center shaft with the splines was slightly off center when it was welded in,I thought it would be OK to drive a couple days till the weekend and then replace it.MISTAKE!! The front pump went out and the trans was fresh the previous weekend.Get on the phone with Boss Hogg and see if they warranty it and post it here to let us know how you are treated.

ericnova72 I have no specific experience with these converters vibrating, only ever bought one, years ago. I can tell you that they are not exactly a "quality" converter. Cheap, bottom of the barrel stuff in their methods of construction.

28-3200 Boss Hog Converter

Wondering If Anyone Had Any Vibrating Experience With This Boss Hog Converter. I Put This In My Car And Feeling A Little Vibration, The Motor Is A 388 Stroker In A 80 Malibu With Th350 Transmission. I Had A B&m Holeshot In There And Dident Feel This. Any Feedback Would Be Great, Thanks The Converter Is A 2800-3200.
