gt2betubbed My brother just did a swap and used a kit from EarlyClassic.com. He said that they were very helpful and the kit had everything needed. They had the option of keeping it a 6 lug, or converting it to a 5. What's cool for you is that the 5 is cheaper. I'd check them out. Also, my bro shopped around for 2 months, and early classic was the cheapest he could find (he got a master and 2 1/2" drop spindles along with the kit). Good luck!

1960 Chevy truck front disc brake swap

Can somebody tell me if there is anything that I can do a swap from to put 5 lug disc brakes on my 6 lug drum braked 1960 Chevy Apache truck?

If anything else, what about a cheap way to convert it to 5 lug? Can I just get the hubs re-drilled? The back already is done since it has a ford 9" rear end.....
