eric32 Well guys thanks for the nice options. I will have to look around some more then decide. On tall valve covers are they all pretty much the same tall height wise? Reason I ask is because my engine is in a chevy s10 with tall valve covers and anthing taller then what I got would be too much but I do have some but very little room left. I have to use tall ones cause of full aluminum rocker arms. Thanks guys

Sinister Those are the short ones. They sell tall ones as well. You'd have to ask the seller if the tall ones clear roller rockers.

I love the look of finned valve-covers. Those are some good looking covers will they clear the aftermarket rockers ?

Need some advice on new set of aluminum valve covers for sbc

Hello guys I am looking into replacing my jegs chrome covers on my 350 sbc with a set of cast aluminum ones tall style but I want ones with good baffles that will keep my pcv valve from wanting to suck up oil. Does anyone have advice on a set that would be good but does not cost more then 80 bucks? I don't have a fortune right now to get something expensive and I feel I should have to pay over a hundred dollars plus for nice set. I was looking at these summit ones.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G3302/

Would those ones be a nice set? They do come with baffles and all I have to do is install them. I have what seems like good baffles in my jegs ones and they are all enclosed and they angle down like a slope with a hole at the bottom so oil that would get up in there can drain out. Anyhow hope people who have chevys and I know a lot does could offer some good suggestions and what would be a good set.
Thanks guys
Eric
