powerrodsmike 61 Ford unibody, even if it's a 1/2 ton I think the axle is a poor choice for a gasser. Too wide and heavy and the wheel bolt pattern is 5 on 5.5.
The kinda popular ones were 61-66 Econoline vans.
I'd check speedway motors, they have some economy straight axle kits for that car.

Id this truck and straight axle?

Hey guys/gals im guessing this is a 61-62 ford truck, it looks like a 3/4 ton, not sure, is this a straight axle front end and if so can it be used for a gasser front end on a 55 chevy? I know alot of rodders used van front ends and was just wondering if this one would work? thanks..
