June Hotrodders.com Art Contest "Woody's Summer Theme" Any Year, Make Model !!
Get ready for the June Session of the Hotrodders.com Art Contest; this month features the coming of all things summer as last months winner "57Corvette" took a last minute three way tie breaker.
Member 57Corvette chose for this month’s subject or "Theme" if you will "Woody's", any year make or model as long as it's a Woody !!
Please feel free to join in and play, all types of media are permitted from model car diorama’s to sketches on napkins to all out illustrations, anyone can be a part and get creative, the summer theme makes it more inviting too. Winner again will choose next months subject after the voting polls start on June 26th and end five days later automatically. With the July month ahead, many of the artists will have great ideas for the contest forthcoming.
We can only get 10 in the poll to max it out, I wait and if there are enough I just stay out so all of you can play, I feel it's only right. I think Jon could change it if he wanted to go higher since V bulletin does allow this modification but an admin has to do it.

I just got off the p.m. phone with Jon, he's upped the poll to 25. Let's see you guys max that out, there's some awesome work here. I love this contest, keep up the great work! Dan

Dan, that's great news, I thought that maybe the initial contests were being thought of as possibly not getting in because of my "maxed out at 10" statement" in some early contests, this is great news and hotrodders does get excellent coverage through Jon's efforts as a webmaster. I'm sure this does better than many websites for showing off artists work in a fun environment.
So now guys, don't shy away from taking a little time to drop in some type of artwork, 25 for a poll is a huge amount !!!
Neal, Mark, thanks guys .......well, girls and cars just seem to go together. Guys seem to dig the girls more than the monsters I have also tried to use. In this one, I really thought the ride was unusual, especially for a Woody.
Hey guys, my apologies for being a day late on this, I will have the poll up later this afternoon barring anymore of the problems I had yesterday, severe dehydration and my handsa now are becoming uncramped enough to type.
I was invited to shoot the Super Saturday for our Outlaw Pro mod association and we had track temps over 130 degrees during the day and regular temps in the 94 range throughout most of the day. Obviously I wasn't prepared as well as I thought, freezing, goosebumps, not being able to go to the bathroom and terrible ramps in all my joints made me sit out an hour or two to get some fluid help. I got to the track at 9 AM and didn't get back in until well past midnight last night and am going to get going on this ASAP.
BTW, I also opend a facebook account ( which I swore I would never do, lol )to spread the word about this part of the forums and hotrodders in general, I have no clue how to use this thing but have many friends that will help.
