I am new to this form and glad to be a part. I grew up in the 60's and 70's. So all my friends and I raced and built cars as a passion. Lived to race the guy (or girl) that pulled next to you at the light. Times really have changed regarding this but TRUE "Rodders" never really go away - We just become seasoned in the art of appreciation for that car that shakes and rumbles at idle. Granted there are some very fast production cars now but its just not the same. I know when I get a whiff of exhaust and can smell the "richness" I look around in hopes of a glimpse of some rare road beast. I guess most of the present generation will rarely appreciate the feeling when the throttle is cracked , the clutch is dumped and the rear end of the car ends up in front of you.
