|clicketyclack||The bosch pump that came in the fuel injected VW bugs, busses, and early vanagons is pretty universal, and can easily push out 45-60psi as the sole pump on the line. They are normally regulated down to about 35psi. The only bad part is they run about $200, twice the price of the previous option from Jegs.|

All you will need with the oem GM EFI in tank fuel pump is the required pump persuader. A rubber mallet. If/when the in tank oem pump starts crapping out on ya, wack the bottom of the fuel tank with the "service mallet" and you'll get home. Put wing nuts on the fuel tank mounting straps or do what everyone else does and cut/fab a service door in the floor above the fuel tank to allow quick easy serviceing.
Don't leave home without it (the mallet).

which electric fuel pump to use?
Vehicle is a '57 Chevy Suburban; engine is a '75 Chevy 250ci inline 6; intake is Clifford manifold with OEM TBI (from an Astro van).
My question is which fuel pump to use? I want to mount it inline, not intank.
Some guys on another forum recommend fuel pump from Ford from the '80s, but these trucks have 2 fuel pumps, electric intank and electric inline, so I wonder if the inline alone would be good enough...
I prefer to use OEM stuff as much as possible, for reliability and ease a of maintenance.
