Ladies and gents,
After much searching with no luck I started planning on a v-8 swap for my '52 Chevy 3600 (3/4 ton). Of course now, I just came across a rebuildable 292 for $50. I really like these engines because of their torque and I really like the look of the I6 in the engine bay instead of stuffing in a v-8. I need some opinions on rebuilding the engine. I just need to know what kind of power I can get from this engine and any advice on this swap if anybody else has done something similar. I will also be dropping in a saginaw 4-spd and a '76 nova rear end. Thanks in advance.
