chevy1500z71 looks like a dana 60 to me. 1 tons definitly dont get dana 44s, thats half ton stuff.

EDIT- that's going by the cover bolt holes. BGH treed me, and agree about could also be 50; 60; or 70U.

big gear head It's a Dana. It could be a 44, 60 or 70. I can't tell bu the pictures. There will be a number cast into the center in one of the webs. The number will be 44, 60 ot 70.

Help identifying rear axle

My 47 Ford 1-ton stake bed has this axle installed. Can anyone help identifying it? There is no tag attached. Thanks in advance. Roy
