93 Camaro LT1: differences between 96 Impala LT1?

My 96 Impala SS LT1 engine spun a bearing -- I've been looking around for a convenient replacement, when i stumbled across a 93 Camaro/T56 combo package for a really good price. I'm wondering how much of the wiring i have will have to change in my project to accomodate this different engine.

I'm not sure what connections on the LT1 changed, and if i can update the 93 to either a 96 or 95 (so i can use the PCM, not ECM that came with the 93 LT1s...)

Does anyone know about the differences between these engines? I know I'll have to reflash my PCMs to make them work with the Camaro engine, but what else should I expect?

Thanks!

You can pull the engine and put new main and rod bearings in and all you have to remove is the crank. The pistons, rods, cam, lifters can all stay in and even the heads and intake can stay on. It's only a total of about $40 for the main and rod bearings. Unless you have really bad blow-by or low compression in some cylinders you don't need to do anything besides the bottom end bearings. This way you will have an engine that you know will last instead of buying an engine that you know nothing about that may not even las 100 miles. JMO
