|Greg T||Keep a record of which one causes the problem. If it comes back again and the same lifter is affected, I would suspect a lobe going flat.|

|mcks||Thanks for the answers. Sorry it took so long to reply. Adjusted the valves again and have had no problems since. Again thanks for the help.|

|bigdog7373||Try loosening the rocker nuts all the way so you could remove the push rod but don't actually remove it. Then tighten the rockers nuts back up agian. Do this by tightening it while you spin the push rod and when you start feeling it get a little more difficult to spin, stop. Then tighten it another half turn. This lets the lifters get pumped up with oil but will still alow it to open he valves without any hanging open. Good luck|

|adantessr||Considering I don't know if the proper break-in procedure was used on the cam or if the additives were used , I can't say for sure , but it sounds like a cam lobe going flat . A dial indicator would be real nice about now to see if the noisy lifter is traveling as far as the others . On the other hand , if it's the same rocker having to be readjusted everytime , there may be enough difference to measure with a ruler .|

350 valves ticking?
New to the site. Tried looking at other posts and was not able to find any answers. So to start I have a fairly freshly rebuilt 350 bored .60 lunati voodoo cam with hydraulic lifters, RHS heads, comp magnum roller tip rockers. After having problems getting it tuned in (still learning all this) I took it to the shop to have it properly tuned. No ticking while I had it. Mech. tuned carb, timing, and adjusted valves. He drove it and said it was running great. Shut it off and restarted and started to tick. He adjusted one of the valves again. And it ran awesome my first two trips around town, no tick. I started it up the third time and started to tick again. He said it may be a lifter collapsing. So after a long story my question is does anyone agree with this, and is there anyway to make sure that is what it is. I appreciate any help.
