Oldguy48 I'm going to try using Velcro where the mounting screws attach the dashboard in my 1948 Plymouth. The part with the softest material in it. Super sticky to place it where you want it, and it will crush down fairly easily.

Anti squeak/wear material (not Welting)

I am looking for input regarding a sutiable material to go between, say, Fenders and Runningboards, or inner Fenders and the Frame , or between the Fenders and the Body without using Welting. I have heard of using Plasti-Dip: or something similar, and I've also heard of using Friction Tape. I think I'm looking for something that will stop metal to metal contact without the look of Welting-I would like it to be as invisible as possible.

What did you use on your project? I'm looking for ideas here, both "standard" and creative-anyone have suggestions?
