the car looks entirely stock, except i removed the antenna

it was my Mom's car and i restored it/modernized it so my 3 brother's (none are mechanical and 2 are hard on cars) would be able to use it without hassle. Alston Race Car did the Chassis work and McCabe did the bodywork. Then the local shop can take care of the car !

Don Meyer Did youhave to raise the rear floor? Does the car sit at normal ride ht?

Don Meyer There certainly is no room lef in the engine conpartment . For the front springs I used 76 cad seville. I have not been able to find what springs I used for the rear.

Don Meyer I put a RR on a G body frame. I'll have to dig into my records to see what sprins I used.

39Hemi The first thing that comes to my mind is convert to an air ride system. With the stock gm components you now have under the car it should be simple switch and you can tune the ride to what you want.
This sounds like a really cool project, got any pictures?

S-10 to Rolls Royce graft

I inherited a 1959 SC I Rolls Royce. With a lot of help we grafted the front clip (suspension/steering/engine/transmission) in place of the 55 year old Rolls Royce systems. We also modified the rear-end into the Rolls Royce - so we have a 1997 Chevrolet underneath a really nice old car. We even have ABS ! The car sits well and is fine on the road. Now i need to get the Chevy factory suspension to lighten up and become much softer/more luxurious. That is why i joined this Bulletin Board. I could really use some help on this important part of the project. Thanks !
