Just curious, how come in the lounge the thread history only goes back 3 pages?
Finally sold for $21,100

Here's another one. That grille and lights mount are messed up in my book... It sold....

I don't want to jinx anything but that has been the pattern all spring. Our forecast for the weekend is iffy too.

Lots of grad parties going on over the next 4 weekends.

Rodnit Iola is about 4.5hrs and St Paul 3hrs.

13hrs is about the max for me for a day. We go down to Gulf Shores, a 2 day trip.

One of these days I'll have to go to Iola. Wouldn't mind going back to BTTF too.....

I've wanted to do Iola for a few years too. I had reservations at a campground to park my trailer for a couple days but had to cancel. I can't get the cooling system on the '38 to work well enough to pull the camper , so I sold the camper. I may still go early on Thursday or Friday and see what I can in 8 hours.

I'm surprised St. Paul is closer for you. Iola is only a few hours for me, but then for a retired truck driver 3 hours is just getting warmed up...
When I drove the '38 to Nashville, I went straight thru in 15 1/2 hours both ways.

I don't know what a traditional Rod is but in the 50's we had guys that had done cars and then we had guys like me that had primer or whatever was on the car when we built it.

The H.A.M.B. guys don't like shiny things or so they say, 99% of them have a car that is shiny, they just don't have the guts to admit it.
