NEW INTERIORS Did get the tank back in and the filler hooked up... Just need to wait on my fittings to tie in the take to the fuel line and give her a little drink,, Also started hooking up the Rad hose's... Should be running soon... Now if Santa would just hurry up with the rest of my toys, I mean part's !!!!

Yes you can Tig weld it.. It's the best way to weld in something like this...I'm not set up yet to tig weld... One day...These are made to tig into gas tanks on choppers...Very cool piece...On this one... I think it may be better for me to leave removable...It has a nice lip all a round for a good pass with a tig...

tech69 you Tig welding that cap in? I'm wondering cause I'm doing a tank and even though I'm leaning on not making it motorized if I decide to put a motor on it that will be something to deal with. Anyhow, keep it snowballing. One feat leading to another til you're up at 4 am wondering what the hell you are doing.

It's fun to walk in my shop everyday and see a FULL SIZE Hot wheels car sitting there...

NEW INTERIORS I now have second thoughts about welding it in... I think it will be good to have it removable.. Really fit's the look well...
