|DOUBLEDICK||it is a pace edwards jackrabit rool top cover.I went through a vender and provided the measurement. The under side of rails needs to be cut and flattened at the attachment points. They dont make one for this truck and I had to sign a wavier to get them to ship it.As I recall the rails are 68 ford f100 and the box is a 98 dodge 2500 truck and only comes in 8 foot.I had to move the latches closer to the rails to make it lock right but is worth the trouble|

|bullheimer||I'VE bought alot of stuff from golden state pickup parts Chevy/GMC Truck Parts at Golden State Parts out of carson city nv. i think they were one of the first i found out about, back even before the interweb was invented by Al Gore. almost all there stuff has been quality stuff but i haven't bought in years. last thing i did get tho was unusable crap: the step inside the cab. was thin garbage. so it's been years since i've used them (or anybody else either). i did return it to them without any issues. my friend with a 67 ordered some door handles from i think it's LMC or sum such, was unusable crap and they wouldn't let him return it. sorry i dont have the name right.|

I really don't know much about pricing but show-oriented builds like that depend heavily of course on the mechanical components used, and the condition of the starting point. And who you ask. Something with looks like that will probably cost six figures to build. I have heard of some pro shops starting at over a quarter million but for half that you can amaze your friends, thats for sure.

1955-59 Chevrolet 3100 Small Window to Big Window Conversion
This project is coming to a conclusion. Just about done and ready to start the next phase on the truck. Painted the interior and had a pro install the rear window glass. Even got the Cruz sticker off my old small window and planted on its new home.
Check out my build Journal to see the process of the small window to big window conversion. Anyone could do it.

1957 Chevrolet 3100 Truck small window to big window conversion
Thought I would post my most recent project on my 57 Chevrolet Truck. I bought a big window section a few years ago with the intention to cut my truck and implant the new section. Finally got around to starting last Tuesday. I am adding all the photos from this weeks progress to my build journal.
