I have a 70 Vette that needs a valve job. I have decided to just replace the old double humpers with a fresh set of aluminum heads but there are so many out there
I will be running a half lift solid tappet cam
Can anyone suggest the best set for me and what cc should I be looking for
It is a weekend car seldom driven
Thanks
Everyone seems to be raving over the Air Flow Research heads..... But they are expensive. You will be paying as much for a set as all the non chevy guys have been paying for their heads for years
You'll need to tell everyone about your setup in greater detail before they will be able to really be specific though
Edelbrock  And the RPM intake just run the stock drop base filter housing, That's the problem you can't run just any air filter set-up on those cars ask me how i know .

from my own experience just put a set of edelbrock e streets on ford powered 32 roadster good value, performance wise not much different cause cast heads had big valves ported, but big weight difference regards pedro
For amount you are spending on double hump heads to fix, a few hundred more get Edlebrock. If money is no object then AFR's.
