Theres a big surprise
looking at what you get done, you make me feel like a bump on a log.
i dont see where you find time to be on here.
Nice car, I love that era, Chev's and Oldsmobile's. I would find a bigger 6, split the manifolds, multi carbs, windshield visor, skirts, suicide knob, all the old 60's stuff. Too cool, I know you'll come up with a good looking car.

Thanks guy's.... Found a few things hiding under the paint that May need a little bit of my help.. :mwink: Nothing bad at all so far... Great score indeed...
This is what I have plan for it... Something a long these lines... I won't be chopping it right now... But it will be in the build a little later... :mwink:
Hey Randy, Cool find, hope you got a good deal on it. That is exactly the vehicle thats on my next build list. I can't seem to ever get the current projects finished, yet always have ideas for future builds.
Always wanted a '55, but prices have gotten stupid on a decent roller. This is what led me to looking at '49-'54's. I am sooo jealous you found a nice one local. You got all the luck. Is the drivetrain still stock? If possible, could you do some drivetrain photos so I can see what it takes to do a big block/t400 conversion. olnolan
Way to Go, Randybro
I'm also one of those O.F.'s that had one "back in the day" - mine was GM black. They sure make a nice cruiser - - - - keep us up to date when you can !
OH, any plans for the power plant?
I might be able to talk my Bud into parting with this - - LOL
Randy, I enjoyed the visit this evening. Here is the pic of the car with the 55 grill I told you I had. This also has olds headlight rings. Dunno if thats the look you were thinking of. Your project slook awsome. Cant believe how small the c-cab is in person...super coooooollllll..Tim

I really like the look of the black picture I posted... Clean,Sweet, and smooth !!!!
Looking forward to a night out with y'all..

Been working on a few bad spots, And making a roll pan, I also took the front cap off, And installed a 350 vortec, With a 700r4 transmission.. :mwink: I also have a 1991 4x4 Blazer rear end sitting under it as of today.. Just have to fit it to the car... So there has been a fire under my a** for a few days now... So maybe tomorrow I will give a little peak.. :mwink:
