Front Disc Brakes- uneven wear question

So, I have a '92 Honda Accord for everyday transportation exposure to road salt, renegade shopping carts, and some protection against high gasoline prices.

Front disc brakes are new of just under a year ago... rotors and pads.

Right front disc warped after a couple of weeks, I figured it was due to being 'white box' China parts (probably a part of the issue). I didn't think it was a big issue.

This spring I decided to rotate the tires and inspect the front brakes...
on the left, all is well. On the right, the inner pad ('piston' side of the caliper) looks nearly new, the outer pad (wheel side of caliper) was worn to the steel backing (it's been grinding for about a week now...).

I thought it was a stuck piston in the caliper, but a the mechanic at my work (welding since age 7, can build anything... I wish I were as good as he is with a wrench!) said the caliper slide bolts were bad.

The caliper slide bolts do have a lot of corrosion on them from being exposed to our lovely Michigan winter salty roads.

Before I start throwing parts at it (caliper, slider pin bolts, new rotor and set of good pads(raybestos or wagner), I'd like some other opinions!

I appreciate the help!
Matt
