|cpg2||I put a bolt in CE front in a 39 Chevy. It fit really well and was easy to do. Way better than using a clip. Used stock MII spindles and it is low. Bought 4 cyl MII springs at parts house and had to cut about two coils off. I also used the CE trans crossmember and braces as well as the radiator support that allows you to put a sway bar on. It all fit perfect and does not look bad at all like I thought bolt on stuff would.|

i think those bolt on kits are pretty easy
and using a sub out of a donor car is one of the hardest (to get right)
if you were thinking about doing a sub frame (i read as, welding involved)
have you looked at any other mustang 2 crossmember/front end kits?

i've did subfames,weld-in MII's and 1 Chassis Engineering bolt- in (for a 37 ford)
kinda ugly (but if you're concidering a subframe, ugly don't bother ya) ,but it's about as easy as it gets to install one
you'll be much happier with the CE over the subframe
sell the subframe, it's too wide anyway....
oh yeah, one other thing, the ride height is adjustable on the CE , i personally wouldn't get dropped spindles just yet...it may be low enough for ya without them

Chassi engineering bolt on independant front suspension on 41 chevy??
Anyone here have experiance with there kits?What about the lower spindels for ride height? I also have a 1978 trans am complete front clip.Trying to decide which way will be easyiest.After I purchased the trans am clip,I realized I will still need to rebuild all old components.Thanxs for looking.
