Holdendays Today I bought a 1946 Dodge pickup for $700 Australian dollars either to use the cab and front metal work on the 39 chassis or if that doesnt work I'll build a retro rod and sell off the Plymouth stuff.

techinspector1 If you have the right tools, anything will fit anything. Look for the body that you want and make it fit.

39 Plymouth chassis what non plymouth pickup body might fit.

We have a 1939 Plymouth chassis with a different front end welded in and the rear end fitted but the body we have is too far gone so I'm wondering what non Plymouth, Dodge, Desoto pickup body might fit with a bit of work. The first picture is the original chassis ans the second is width the new front end welded in.
